Now I’m an oldschool fucker, I love Asphyx, Frost, Entombed, and Bathory. But when I say oldschool I mean oldschool done by oldschool bands. Not yuppies who don’t know shit about production. Now let me say this. These guys can write some good riffs and songs, but fuck me this production is horrible. I’m assuming they went with this sound to sound older. In all honesty it sounds fake and shit. Like fake shit. Old shit sounds like it does because the dudes that recorded it didn’t have shit for cash.
This record basically boils down to two things; good song ideas but shit production ideas. No excuses for this, even my dad can make a decent ringtone with Audacity, so once again…
No excuse for shit.
7.5 for the music, 1.5 for listenability
And they have stupid names.
